Caturday

Kitties, I have had the opportunity to enjoy TWO days of sun puddles.  I have!  Around here the past three years it rains the majority of the week with maybe 2 days with sun.  I have just experienced (including today) those days of sun.  But I will show you how well I absorbed the heat and sunbeams yesterday at my window.  This is my favorite place to sunbathe and the front door being the other.

My human brother is coning over Sunday afternoon.  Oh BOY!  I get lots of pets and loves. My head will have a bald spot from my mom's kissies and my side will too from his.  I loves it.  By the way, you asked some of you and I don't seem to have the bacons gene.  I haven't asked for any at all.  I don't ask for any human fuds ever.  So far, speaking of fuds I ave not thrown up again.  Mom is feeding me Blue for dry fuds and the vet said to quit switching so fast...use the same thing for 30 days.

Mousie is gone by the way.  So I guess I can't bring anything for mom to play with any more.  I know she's sadded because she shouted with such happiness when I brought home the breakfast and served her in bed..VERY fresh breakfast I might add.  I want to give back after all 'cause I'm not just a "taker".  But now I have to wait for the next season like Fall to find more breakfasts for us.  Sigh.

  1. Maybe Mommy prefers something smaller? Say, a lizard or a roach? I know MY Mommy loves roaches, especially the live ones, because of all the shouting and dancing she does when I used to bring them home for her.
Bet the reason you aren't throwing up anymore is because I washed Spitty's scent off your paws.

    Love, Your Boomie

  2. I think Boomie has the right idea - try something else to serve mom in bed. A roach would be good because she was telling M how much she LOVES them. A Mousie would be better, but until mousies come inside again, a roach will do nicely,

  4. Oh Katie, that sun puddle looks glorious. Surely you can find something besides a mousey to put in Mom's bed. We sure don't ant Mom to be deprived of any fun.
Katie, tell Mom we are sorry we made her a little sad this morning with the picture of Missy. Have a great week end.

  5. Round here we likes to catch the long legged crickets in the basement. The humans don't seem too grossed out by that.

That is interesting what the vet says about not switching fuds around. Audrey barfed her fivesies again this morning - she does that a lot. It is the same food and the same amount as she gets at 10 pm and at 12 pm, but she only seems to barf the morning serving. This comes from the feeder. She doesn't seem to barf the wet food, even though it is a big serving. Yes, that cat gets FIVE meals/snacks per day!!!

  6. Lucy barfed this morning (twice) but she does sometimes - the food is the same as usual so maybe she just gobbled it down too fast. Maybe a tasty mousie would be more palatable for her.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

  10. Good morning, my darling! I think I will teleport over later to share that puddle for a bit cuz you looks so....well, delectable is the word that leaps to mind.

Sorry bowt the bacons. But me too-I have absolutely no interest at all in the Human fudz--I have no idea how they can eat that stuff. I sniff at it, but I never consume even a single mouthful. We is just more particular than they are, that's all.

  18. Oh Katie... there will be more mice. The world is filled with mice, I think. Perhaps you will find one on Mother's Day. What a nice surprise for your mommy if you should bring her breakfast in bed on that special day.

  20. HAH! did Spitty's fur give you hairballs? HAH! Switching food is one of the biggest rasons cats frow up. She should stick to one or 2 brands.

  21. Katie, that is too bad there's nothing for you to bring your human right now. I guess you will just have to enjoy your human brother's visit and worry about the hunting later.

  22. you look lovely in your sun puddle!
Leo would understand your lack of interest of human food. There is nothing that tempts him. Star on the other hand, will gnaw your arm off if you don't give her chicken when you have it! Ham, bacon and a few other things are good, but chicken is HERS.
