Meowy Monday

Kitties, I laid fluffy bomits from kibble in every room but the computer room.  EVERY other room but.  That was really some work! They cleaned up very easily..very airy seeming.  I fink what happened was for three days I wouldn't eat my kibble.  All I had was my wet foods.  So mommy got me kibble she knew I'd eat.  Royal Canin and I stuffed myself.  I fink I will be OK from now on out.  I sure keep mom guessing and yes, she now turns on lights when she gets out of bed.

MY human brothers were both here.  One stayed in the spare bedroom while the other returned to his home. And guess what *I* did?  I kept banging on the mini blinds at 2 or so in the morning until Brother awakened and got up and raised them!  I asked much earlier to have the other window's blinds raised too but everyone was up and awake then.  I may be becoming a bit of a pill.

Want to see my toesies?  I fink they are gorgeous!  Mom took this picture this morning while I slept.  I had all four paws put together in a bouquet.  Come see.  xoxoxoxox

  1. Oh, Katie, you will keep your Mom on her toes over the fuds, won't you? My Mom now feeds me small meals only if it is something I like, otherwise it will come back up.

That bouquet of toes is super adorable!!!

  2. Sorry to hear about the bomit piles. Moosey does that once in awhile, too ... gets all excited about his kibbles and then eats too fast and too much.

We don't think you are a pill. After all, if you asked for the other blinds to be raised earlier, the humans should have anticipated you'd want the ones in the spare bedroom raised, too. Right? ;)

That sure is a nice bouquet of pawsies, sweet Katie.

  4. We can't imagine anyone as cute as you being a 'pill'!

Your Mommy had a question about Samson's allergies.

They were diagnosed by our vet, but not officially, in that he didn't do a test to rule out immunodeficiency problems. He had said the next time the allergies come back, we would get a biopsy of the scabs to determine whether or not they were actually caused by allergies or something more sinister, but obviously that test has been post-poned without any symptoms (yay!)

The medication was prednisolone (or prednisone, not sure) that was given in pill form over a period of a couple of months with the dosage tapering off at the end to wean him off. He had been on the pred doses many times over the last two years and his symptoms would reoccur in about two weeks after his last pred pill, so ten weeks with no symptoms is definitely cause for celebration!

Do you have allergies, Katie? Is that why you're leaving little bombs around the house?

  5. SMOOCHes for your toeses - they are so cute and smoochable. I loves you Katie cuz you are a little bit of a "PILL" now and then anyway. Who can be purrfect all the time.

  6. Nice toe tufts you got there. Maybe you should get more wet food and less kibble and the kibble shouldn't be left out?

  7. Oh Katie, we are sorry you are tossing up our food. You probably are just eating way too fast. I think it is all right for you to have a little bit of dry food a couple times a day. WE all get dry food and we are fine. Maybe just a handful or so at a time and then you will be hungry for the next time or hungry for some canned food. We hope you and Mom get this food all straight pretty soon and we know you do too.

  17. Katie we feel so bad that you keep vomiting. Is your Mommy changing your type of food abruptly without mixing it into your current food to allow you to adjust to it? That could have something to do with it. We sure hope you are feeling better.

Your toes are just amazingly beautiful!

  24. Maybe if you are going to keep on bomiting, you can provide your family with Wellie boots to keep by their beds. I know I would want a pair.

    Cheers,

  26. Darling! It's a Toe Bouquet! You should market them for Valentine's Day ;-) I think it is your brofur's own fault for not setting the blinds to the correct height before turning in. I mean, is it YOUR fault if HE neglects his dooty? I think NOT!

  40. I just remembered something. One of our cats vomited like that until we took her off all food with salmon in it. Maybe there is something in the food Katie eats that doesn't agree with her that is causing her to do that. Hugs

  41. We sorry you had to work so hard to left piles in every room. We hope your mom can sort that out soon. Looking outside the window at 2 am is a purrfectly normal thing. Who knows why they had the blind down to begin with!

  42. You have furry pretty toesies, Katie.

Small amounts of kibble at a time and mix new into old, increasing new amount slowly) to change brand or flavor. Major pet stores will take back food (including open bags of kibble) if she won't eat it or it makes her sick. Hoping you have better luck with food soon, Katie.
