Furry Friday

Good Meowning Kitties and Woofies.  I had a fine night and a great meowning so fur.  Mom didn't but that was her fault..not mine.  That's her word too.  She said she's still gonna go work out regardless.

I am still on patrol but not as much as I was so the mousie may have gone away.  maybe.  And no yak puddles these past two days but I am doing a superb job raking the litter out of my box.  What an impressive pile of it on the little rug in front of my box.  (I call it my commode).

Mom got a smile from this cartoon and wanted to share it.  I hope no woofies sees it and gets mad at me.  NO OFFENSE TO ANY WOOFIES!  Mom thinks she's SO funny sometimes.  Sheesh!

  3. So glad that you are doing such a good job of spreading your litter around on the floor. We love doing the same thing. Katie, we hate to tell you but we love our doggies. But that is a cute picture. That is one big cat. Have yourselves a terrific week end.

  7. Sounds like you are settling right in. Lap time, yak, litter scattering, mousing are sure signs of it. Haf a great day, Katie Isabella! Thanks fur the chuckle. xoxo

  8. Sissy scatters litter everywhere, too! Our human put a plastic runner over the carpet there because of her. We are glad you haven't had anymore yakies. Too many and you go in the PTU to the V-E-T!

  10. Mommy read this of yours earlier but didn't comment because she was in a "rush". We love that kitty on the tv!! And we do agree about dogs, but want to add that a lot of them have doggie breath.

  15. We're so happy you're not yakking anymore. AND that you didn't leave a mousey on your Mommy's pillow. :)

  16. You let the mousie get away??? Oh my. It's a good thing your Mom loves you for so many other reasons, because it sounds like you need some more practice with that job, MOL. Never fear, I'm sure another mousie will come along in due time.

And tell your Mom thanks for the cute cartoon!

  17. Apparently the cat that came before me did a great job at kicking the litter out so I have to use private, enclosed boxes, not that I mind. I still kick some litter out but blame TW cos she's sloppy scooping. And BTW, Spitty's undies are BLUE today, just like mine. xoxo

  18. Maybe we need to help you find your mousie! I hope your weekend is filled with lots of snuggles pretty Katie!

  19. Katie, I am worried about the poor mousie. I hope you don't have it hidden somewhere. ;-)
Good job with the litter box.

  20. Happy day! No yakking is good - even though it is fun to see humans step in the puddles, it still doesn't feel great to actually MAKE them!

  21. We hope the mousie comes back! We're glad you are settling in so well and re-decorating your commode to your liking! Our sisfur Sadie doesn't like that cartoon for some reason!

  22. Great job with the litter, Katie. We, too, like doing that to keep mom and dad on their toes. :)

We love woofies, but that picture made us laugh. MOL!

Hugs to you and your Mom,

  23. Perhaps the mousie decided that discretion is the better part of valor and moved to a house that does not have a vigilant kittie like you, Miss Katie. Our late Hemingway was a particularly vigorous "coverer" in the litter box. We used to say "Hemmy is digging to China again!" If the litter box is your "commode", is the human toilet the "people box"? :-) We probably would not have a woofie, but they are nice as long as they are quiet and well-behaved. Hope your Mom feels better tomorrow!

  25. That is a funny picture! Good work scattering the litter. We like to scat it out over the side too. Have you tried getting in the litterbox with wet feet. It sticks to your toesies so when you get out and run around at 100 miles an hour you can scatter it much further. It's great fun.

  26. Hi Katie, Austin here :) Just to say we could really be related as we are both gorgeous!!! And my mum is also from the south, but it's England in her case! She has a rather clipped meow :))) Whatever! I would mesh my DNA with yours anytime xox >^,.^<

And that's not sensationalizing the news either. That's the hard core truth he's reporting!

Sounds like you are always busy with something KI.

Our human brother has a lolcats app (whatever that is!) on his iPod and he's always showing us funny photos of cats.
Good job on the litter pile! We are experts at making mess :)

  35. Darling Katie! It's OKAY to offend the woofies, honest it is!

I am glad you approves of my cinnamon underwares. I am all in favor of creative spelling, even though the Human is an English teacher. Cats are not bound by silly Human spelling conventions!
