Is your mom obsessive compulsive? When you go to all the trouble to prepare the bed for sleeping, she should leave it be. Even if it is xxxxx number of hours before she'll sleep, you'll be sleeping in it in xxxx number of minutes.

You work and you slave and you carefully construct rumpled sheet art and she just comes along and destroys it. You regroup, start over, create art again and she comes along and destroys it..

Tw doesn't smooth the bed and I ignore it. I go on Pop's bed cos he smooths it. He says he makes something called hospital corners. Whatever.

The mom has given up making beds (for the most part) cause we "mole" through the covers and re-arrange them (scratch them around) until they're comfy again.
A little rumple in the bed makes it interesting.

Glogirly only smooths out the bed when she washes the sheets. So considering my affinity for laundry and bed making, it's a win-win.
